She states after doing research she had found that there were family members taking care of other family members. She explains that when she applied, she did inform an employee representative that she was the mother of the child who she was assigned to and her response was that it was ok if they were not living in the same household. She states they were not living in the same household at the time. The LVN states she would go to thc house to watch her son and leave once her shift was over.
The Texas Board of Nursing placed her RN license to disciplinary action. It’s too bad that she failed to hire a nurse attorney for assistance, knowing that she had every reason to defend herself in the first place.
