Facing the Board is never easy. You should seek help from a nurse attorney if you dealing with cases that are hard to overcome. Having a nurse attorney is a relief especially when you are having a hard time dealing with and winning against accusation cases.

At the time of the initial incident, the RN was employed as a Registered Nurse at a hospital in Texarkana, Texas, and had been in that position for less than one (1) month.

On or about October 9, 2018, the RN lacked the fitness to practice professional nursing in that she exhibited impaired behavior that included, but was not limited to: appearing disheveled, staggering/unbalanced gate, falling asleep, falling down, and needing assistance to sit down. The RN’s condition could have affected her ability to make rational, accurate, and appropriate assessments, judgments, and decisions regarding patient care, thereby placing the patients in potential danger.

In response, the RN states that on the morning in question she received a call that her father, who was dealing with prior health issues, was experiencing acute renal failure and had developed a deep vein thrombosis and end of life care, was discussed. The RN states that she was devastated and extremely upset by this news and was overcome with overwhelming emotion and did fall to the ground. The RN explains that because she was in an unfamiliar city and had no one to discuss this with and is a very emotional person, all she could do was cry when presented with the news. The RN tried to compose herself and return to orientation but was asked to leave the room. According to the RN, this only added to her crying and fear.

The following incident had caused the Texas Board of Nursing (BON) or referred to as the Board to place the LVN and her license into disciplinary action. She should have sought assistance from a good nurse attorney to provide clarifications on the case. Having a good and reliable nurse attorney around during a trial or any proceedings can result in a different outcome.

If you’ve ever done any errors or misdemeanors outside or during your shift as an RN or LVN, and you wish to preserve your career and your license, an experienced nurse attorney is what you need. You may contact Nurse Attorney Yong J. An, an experienced nurse attorney for various licensing cases for 16 years, can assist you by contacting him at (832) 428-5679.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY

I consider Yong as the biggest blessing in my life for this year. While I was practicing as a professional nurse in Texas, I received an order from the BON limiting my practice. This was problematic for me since I wanted to continue working for my employer. Yong was the one who wrote a reply letter to the Board and explained my innocence. He made all the necessary arrangements, which led to the issuance of an order in my favor…

I searched for a Texas lawyer who is good at handling nursing defense cases. During my research, I came across the website of Mr. Yong. I read positive comments from his previous clients, which made me become more interested in what he does. Because of this, I tried to send a message via the website. What made me really happy was the fact that a member of his team responded right away! He was so nice to me. I wish there won’t come a time that I would require the services of a lawyer. But right now, I have to say that I will recommend his firm to those who are in need!

The nice thing about Mr. Yong is that he is an expert in the legal aspect of the nursing industry. He has this ability in helping clients to feel calm and more relaxed while the case is going on. With his efforts, he was able to dismiss the case filed against me. I was able to keep my nursing license because of him. My case was quite difficult but he won! This only shows that he is an amazing and skilled lawyer in Texas.
