In response to the incidents, RN states: On April 7, 2008, our facility was being audited by the state. My technique of drawing up medications was being observed and I was nervous and made a medication error. My administrator took disciplinary action and has continued to monitor me and will do so for a minimum of eight weeks, post-incident. She will monitor me weekly after that time frame. The second allegation of having alcohol on my breath, I have never consumed alcohol in the workplace. I do have a few glasses of wine at home in the evenings.
