An experienced Houston Nurse Attorney has surely helped a lot of RNs and LVNs when it comes to cases that may lead toward disciplinary action. Unfortunately, not all nurses were able to hire a Houston Nurse Attorney as they underwent such cases. This incident that an LVN committed on October 15, 2013, was one of those examples.

On or about October 15, 2013, an LVN from Houston was charged with ASSAULT (a Class A misdemeanor offense committed on June 22, 2013).

When asked about the incident, the LVN states he was breaking up with his girlfriend and she began to punch and slap him. He warded off her attack without ever hitting her. She lied to the police and he was arrested for assault. He accepted a fine and deferred adjudication to be done with the case.

On or about May 30, 2018, the same LVN was charged with VIOLATION OF PROTECTIVE ORDER-FAMILY VIOLENCE (a Class A misdemeanor offense committed on February 29, 2018). During the hearing, the LVN states he and his wife are going through a divorce. His wife has a protective order against him, requiring him to stay away from her place of employment, among other things. On February 27, 2018, she called him and asked for money for her sick child, and also asked that he take the money to her at her place of employment. He took the money and she was not there. He returned the following day and saw his wife walking with a man. She went inside without speaking to the LVN and the LVN asked the man if he was dating his wife. Meanwhile, the police were called and subsequently there was a warrant issued for his arrest.

The following incident and defense against the case caused the Texas Board of Nursing to place the LVN and his license into disciplinary proceedings. He would have sought assistance from a good Houston Nurse Attorney to provide clarifications towards the case.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY

I consider Yong as the biggest blessing in my life for this year. While I was practicing as a professional nurse in Texas, I received an order from the BON limiting my practice. This was problematic for me since I wanted to continue working for my employer. Yong was the one who wrote a reply letter to the Board and explained my innocence. He made all the necessary arrangements, which led to the issuance of an order in my favor…

I searched for a Texas lawyer who is good at handling nursing defense cases. During my research, I came across the website of Mr. Yong. I read positive comments from his previous clients, which made me become more interested in what he does. Because of this, I tried to send a message via the website. What made me really happy was the fact that a member of his team responded right away! He was so nice to me. I wish there won’t come a time that I would require the services of a lawyer. But right now, I have to say that I will recommend his firm to those who are in need!

The nice thing about Mr. Yong is that he is an expert in the legal aspect of the nursing industry. He has this ability in helping clients to feel calm and more relaxed while the case is going on. With his efforts, he was able to dismiss the case filed against me. I was able to keep my nursing license because of him. My case was quite difficult but he won! This only shows that he is an amazing and skilled lawyer in Texas.
