Her mother could not get the oil prescribed as she did not have the diagnoses required for a prescription from her healthcare provider, ie epilepsy. Because the RN did not want her mother to get into legal trouble, she admitted that the plants were hers. The RN also states she does not use marijuana.
However, she was not able to provide a good defense for herself. Therefore, the Board placed her RN license to a disciplinary action instead.
