In response to the incident, the RN  states that her mother, who was living with her, was growing a few marijuana plants in the house, the oil which she used for the treatment of her pain and anxiety, Marijuana oil was the only intervention that helped her with pain that had become debilitating. Her mother could not get the oil prescribed as she did not have the diagnoses required for a prescription from her healthcare provider, ie epilepsy.
