Accusations are stressful issues for an RN or LVN, except when a nurse attorney assists you against the case. The Texas Board of Nurses (BON) ensures the protection of the welfare of every licensed nurse in Texas. They are responsible for all hearings against RNs and LVNs undergoing a case that may revoke, suspend, or only discipline their license. They are committed to their mission and values by giving excellent service.  Take note that nurse attorneys in Richmond can also defend a nurse’s license against accusations.

On or about May 19, 2018, while employed as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in a medical facility in Richmond, the LVN allegedly failed to give the Ipratropium 0.5 mg and Levalbuterol 1.25 mg to a patient during the scheduled time the medications were to be administered but documented the administration of these medications.

Because of the incident, the Texas Board of Nursing (BON) summoned the LVN to hear her side of the story.

In response to the incident, the LVN states she prepared the patient’s medication and administered the treatment during the shift.

However, without the proper help from a good defense nurse attorney, the LVN lost the case and she was disciplined and suspended.

The Texas Board of Nursing then subjected the LVN and her license to disciplinary action. The accusation would have been defended by an experienced and skilled nurse attorney, had the LVN hired one. Hiring a nurse attorney for defense is applicable for any kind of accusation laid against an RN or LVN.
