False documentation is a serious case, which is why a nurse attorney is needed if you get accused of this kind of scenario. However, there are some nurses who thought they were guilty of the charges but failed to hire a nurse attorney just because they thought it’s doom for their license already. But that is not entirely the case as there is still hope.

At the time of the initial incident, she was employed as an RN with a healthcare provider in The Woodlands, Texas, and had been in that position for nine (9) months.

On or about October 6, 2019, while employed as an RN with a healthcare provider in The Woodlands, Texas, RN falsely documented the administration of medications in the medical records of thirteen (13) patients in that she admitted she did not administer the medications. RN’s conduct created false medical records and was likely to injure patients in that subsequent caregivers would rely on her documentation to administer further care.

RN admits to the conduct outlined in the above-mentioned incident. She explains she had worked two (2) double shifts that weekend, and she was physically and mentally fatigued and made a poor decision.

The above action constitutes grounds for disciplinary action in accordance with Section 301.452(b)(10)&(13), Texas Occupations Code, and is a violation of 22 TEX. ADMIN. CODE §217.11(1)(A),(1)(B),(1)(D)&(1)(T) and 22 TEX. ADMIN. CODE §217.12(1)(A),(1)(B),(1)(C),(1)(E),(4),(5),(6)(A)&(6)(H).

The Texas Board of Nursing then subjected the RN’s license to disciplinary action. The accusation would have been defended by an experienced and skilled nurse attorney, had the RN hired one. Hiring a nurse attorney for defense is applicable for any kind of accusation laid against an RN or LVN.
