Losing your license may greatly affect your future career, but only if you failed to hire a nurse attorney for the case. There are some RNs and LVNs who missed their chances to get their license saved from revocation just because they weren’t able to hire any nurse attorney to defend them.

At the time of the incident, the LVN was employed as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in a hospital in Ennis and had been in that position for one year and four months.

On or about February 1, 2015, through September 4, 2015, the LVN practiced as a Licensed Vocational Nurse without a valid license. Her license expired January 31, 2015, and was not renewed until September 4, 2015.

When summoned by the Texas Board of Nursing, the LVN states she was informed by her employer in September 2015 that her license was expired. She began working on her continuing education and submitted the delinquent license renewal. The LVN states it was never her intention to work without a license. The LVN further states there is no excuse to let her license expire and continue working.

The Texas Board of Nursing thus finds that her conduct deceived patients, their families, fellow caregivers, and the public in that they believed her nursing practice was in compliance with all Board Rules and Regulations. And even though the LVN had the chance to explain her side to the Texas Board of Nursing, her lack of an effective nurse attorney to help her resulted in her disciplinary actions.

The case could have resulted in a lesser disciplinary action by the Board of Nursing, only if the LVN hired an effective nurse attorney to help her win her case.

License issues could compromise your career, which is why a Texas nurse attorney could provide you the best help against these issues. If you have any valid reasons, you may refer to a nurse attorney to provide further defense against your case.
