The Texas Board of Nursing (BON) is the government agency that has jurisdiction to hear and decide administrative cases involving RN and LVN in Texas. It is also the agency that is responsible for overseeing the practice of professional nursing all over the state of Texas. Any RN or LVN who is guilty of violating state laws and issuances from the Texas Board of Nursing (BON) may be subjected to penalties or fines if not properly defended by a Galveston nurse attorney. As a matter of fact, the RN license and LVN license can even be suspended or revoked.

On or about June 1, 2016, through January 30, 2019, while employed as a private duty Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in a medical facility in Galveston,Texas, the LVN allegedly violated the professional boundaries of the nurse/client relationship in that she spent time with a patient and his family when she was not scheduled or assigned to care for the patient, invited the patient and his family to her home, and went on vacations with the patient and his family. Additionally, the LVN picked up medications from the pharmacy for a patient.

The LVN’s conduct was likely to injure the patient in that it could have resulted in confusion between the needs of the nurse and those of the patient, and may have caused delayed distress for the patient and the patient’s family, which may not be recognized until harmful consequences occur.

Because of the incident, the Texas Board of Nursing summoned the LVN to investigate what really happened. In response to the incident, the LVN admits that the patient and his family have been to her home on numerous occasions. However, without valid evidence and expert nurse defense lawyer to defend her, the LVN was suspended and disciplined.

This is just one of the many cases why every nurse in Texas is expected to act with prudence in practicing the profession. Any form of gross negligence, disobedience or any form of offense on the part of a RN or LVN is never excused.

Any criminal, negligence or administrative case can be defended, as long as there is a skilled Galveston nurse attorney ready to assist you during the hearing before the Board of Nursing. The Texas Board of Nursing has full jurisdiction regarding cases that may affect an RN or LVN’s license from suspension, disciplinary action or revocation.

The LVN lost the case simply because she failed to find an effective and efficient Galveston nurse attorney. Avoid committing the same mistake she did. WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY

I consider Yong as the biggest blessing in my life for this year. While I was practicing as a professional nurse in Texas, I received an order from the BON limiting my practice. This was problematic for me since I wanted to continue working for my employer. Yong was the one who wrote a reply letter to the Board and explained my innocence. He made all the necessary arrangements, which led to the issuance of an order in my favor…

I searched for a Texas lawyer who is good at handling nursing defense cases. During my research, I came across the website of Mr. Yong. I read positive comments from his previous clients, which made me become more interested in what he does. Because of this, I tried to send a message via the website. What made me really happy was the fact that a member of his team responded right away! He was so nice to me. I wish there won’t come a time that I would require the services of a lawyer. But right now, I have to say that I will recommend his firm to those who are in need!

The nice thing about Mr. Yong is that he is an expert in the legal aspect of the nursing industry. He has this ability in helping clients to feel calm and more relaxed while the case is going on. With his efforts, he was able to dismiss the case filed against me. I was able to keep my nursing license because of him. My case was quite difficult but he won! This only shows that he is an amazing and skilled lawyer in Texas.
